I don't recall right now who that Leaker said Sadie Sink was playing, but this trailer confirmed that they (the Leaker) were right about Banner and The Hand, so I wouldn't be surprised if they (the Leaker) end up being proven right re: Sadie as well.

About the film itself, I need more before I can say that I'm interested, so give it to me quickly, Sony.
“It is said to be Jean Grey.”

What I think I saw came as an individual Leak (as did the information about The Hand and as did the information about Banner), so, no, it wasn't that bulk post.

It's been a while since I've seen the other Spiderman movies, but seeing Peter being so depressed gave me some pause. I wonder if I need to see the other Spiderman movies again to understand this or or if it's not necessary.

That's closer to the 70s Parker personality. As casualties build up in his career he begins to feel responsible and blame himself for any errors he may or may not have committed along the way. In this case, Peter has lost his family due to Aunt May's death and his entire previous life due to the end of the previous movie.

There were some rumors that the Man-Spider plot might happen, I didn't think it would. Maybe it will though. We'll see. Mostly, it seems like it'll be fun.

Based on the version of the Man-Spider story that I'm familiar with, what we've now seen in the trailer feels more like the descriptions I read about the 'The Other's storyline than it does Man-Spider.

Ah, I'll have to Google that. I'm Dutch so the comics weren't that available here. I remember Man-Spider from the cartoon and this reminded me of that.

The cartoon is where I'm familiar with the Man-Spider storyline from, also, but what we saw in this trailer didn't match up with that story for me.

If their take on The Other involves the Spider-Totems and all of that, then my guess for Keith David's character would be Ezekiel or Morlun.

Honestly, David's voiceover about spider life cycles sounds to me like the narration for a nature documentary, maybe something Peter's watching on TV or online as research, or a film being shown in a classroom. It might be nothing more than a voice cameo. David might even be playing himself as the celebrity narrator of the documentary.
