When I'm watching Trek that he was actively involved with? To some degree, yes.
If there was a Trek reboot and he was alive and was going to be actively involved with it in more than a "consultant" fashion? Yes.
At one point, Drew Barrymore was attached to the remake (back during her Charlie's Angels days), but nothing came of it . . . .
Well, would be nice to see the fallout from the movie after the accidental Reaver creation was exposed by Mal's crew.
Depending on the cast and of course the writing i would be up for it but the original cast was lightning in a bottle, it will be hard to do again and if they do it i hope Browncoats will keep an open mind about it and give it a chance.

Boom Comics dropped its licence to do Firefly comics in 2024, after six years and dozens of comics published.
Titan books published its ninth licenced Firefly novel in 2024 and doesn't seem to have anything new lined up.
Was there just not enough interest in Firefly tie-ins? Or did terms for the licences change due to possible new plans? The former seems a bit more likely, given that news stories give the impression that it was Boom that walked away from Firefly rather than the licence being pulled, but who knows.

I remember late 2019/very early 2020 when there was a rumor of a Firefly revival going on amidst the buzz for the impending premiere of Picard S1, someone suggested "may they'll do a Firefly version of Star Trek Picard." Firefly doesn't need Joss Whedon, it needs Tim Minear. I'm looking forward to the new episodes of Buffy and Whedon has nothing to do with them whatsoever. As for Adam Baldwin...

I don't agree with Adam Baldwin's beliefs at all, but as an actor he is a damn entertaining performer who brought to life some great characters such as Jayne in Firefly or XO Mike Slattery in The Last Ship, so I have no problem giving a positive opinion of him as an actor.
I am utterly indifferent to a Firefly sequel, but I'd be interested in an Only Murders in the Building-type murder thing set at a science-fiction convention. If Fillion's reuniting the cast for that, a bunch of actors from a cult sf series who get caught up in mysterious doings behind the scenes of a convention, I'd be in.

FWIW I've heard no chatter about this where I work – we've got a long history with Whedon's work, and Firefly in particular, so I imagine management would be aggressively pursuing any reboot. I checked with one of our heads of production as well and he's heard nothing, either.
No one is claiming anything.... Mostly seem to be cautiously wondering in speculating.
It also seems odd the cast would be making these videos -exciting a fan base they've built and grown for 20 years- if it weren't for something significant.
... Not sure what to say. Seems like "something" is happening that isn't quite "out" that far yet?
