Discovery I've rewatched 5 times..Do people really find themselves rewatching NuTrek?
The only show I've gone back to for a second watch is Lower Decks.
Strange New Worlds twice.

The only re-watch that I've never been able to finish was Picard S2 -- and even that season has at least two defenders on these boards that I know of. I'm a staunch defender of most of season one, and two of the things that really seemed to bother others -- copy/paste fleet (they ran out of time/money. shit happens) and machine tenacles (a choice to be sure, but what were people expecting? Artoo and Threepio?) aren't deal-breakers to me.Do people really find themselves rewatching NuTrek?

Discovery onward.Which are the "recent" shows to you?
Discovery onward.
None of these shows will age well. I like Prodigy though.
I agree about DISCO totally and PICARD mostly.Discovery onward.

I do believe them and the others charge for the more expanded services. So there seems to be a market for their data. Are Nielson ratings even a thing with streaming shows?
Discovery first aired in September 2017, it hasn't even been out 9 years yet.I disagree. When Discovery aired about a decade ago, I absolutely hated it. Ten years and a most recent rewatch later, I have a very different opinion. It may be nothing compared to TNG in syndication, but I think it can attract new audiences still.
I rewatch Lower Decks all the time, even bought the BluRay's.Do people really find themselves rewatching NuTrek?

Absolutely. I can pick and nibble at the odd Lower Decks and SNW episode just as I do with TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT. I have watched seasons 1 and 2 of Picard several times and season 2 onwards of Discovery. In fact I did a 2-5 rewatch as prep for Academy.Do people really find themselves rewatching NuTrek?

Do what I do, buy the BluRays.I will say that I've never actually had a opportunity to rewatch Prodigy season 2. I subscribed to Netflix for one month to watch it and made it through the season once and didn't have time to go through it again.
In DISCO's case:I'm sure they will "age" just fine. I'm unsure why they wouldn't.
Nah. None of that stuff will effect "aging"In DISCO's case:
Seasons being spread out into 13 episodes when 5 would have done the trick, the terrible writing of arcs that just meander about for most of the season, said arcs ending badly or mediocre (with season 4 being the only one that was a good ending), the endless shrink sessions, the inability to take these Starfleet officers seriously as professionals, the meltdowns during a ticking clock...
Yeah, I don't think DISCO will age well at all.
