I’d say all of these make sense, but Kacey Rohl as “Worst Supporting Actress” is IMHO uncalled for. I think she was more than fine.‘Star Trek: Section 31’ Nominated For 5 Razzie Awards
Today in their 2026 nomination announcement, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation summed up the movie as a “convoluted mess beaming its audience to a frontier that could finally bring this once inspiring franchised journey to a screeching halt.” Section 31 has a total of five nominations for the 26th annual Razzies […]
Star Michelle Yeoh was nominated for “Worst Actress” […]
Kacey Rohl was nominated for “Worst Supporting Actress” for her Section 31 role as Rachel Garrett. […]
Olatunde Osunsanmi was nominated for “Worst Director” by the Razzies. […]
The Section 31 writers (screenplay by Craig Sweeny with original story concept developed by Bo Yeon Kim & Erika Lippoldt) are also up for “Worst Screenplay.” […]
With five total, Section 31 ties Hurry Up Tomorrow for the second most nominations.
Section 31 actually doesn’t hold the franchise record for most Razzie nominations. That distinction belongs to Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, which was nominated for six Razzie Awards in 1991. It “won” awards for “Worst Picture” as well as “Worst Director” and “Worst Actor” for William Shatner. The last Star Trek film recognized by the Razzies was Star Trek: Generations, which nominated William Shatner for “Worst Actor” in 1995. And the Razzies seem to really have it in for the original Captain Kirk. In 2000, Shatner was nominated for “Worst Actor of the Century.”

Absurd! And the Razzies seem to really have it in for the original Captain Kirk. In 2000, Shatner was nominated for “Worst Actor of the Century.”
Well, that is the Razzies summed up in a single word.Absurd!

Is it fair to Yeoh and the director either?I dunno... The second one doesn't seem fair to Rohl. I thought her Rachel Garrett character was one of the best things about S31 and was kind of hoping we'd get a "Lost Era" show as she makes her way to the E-C. Oh well...
Is it fair to Yeoh and the director either?
They all had to work with the screenplay given to them.
I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but yes. I'm too far in now to have a gap in the Trek collection.I’m curious, did anyone here get any of the home media releases of the film?

Not for me, not really. There's probably a little bit here and there for some people, but I found there to be way too much of the typical glazing crap that most special features are these days. Not enough 'show how stuff was made/done' and too much 'talk about how great everything and everyone is'.So I’m wondering what people who own it have to say about the features. Anything interesting on there?

Nothing to be ashamed of. I know how it is as a collector.I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but yes. I'm too far in now to have a gap in the Trek collection.

To be fair, I'm probably being way too mean about them due to the whole project being a clusterfudge. If there's anything specific you wanted to know about the extras I can try and answer with more neutrality.![]()
Amazon gave me a coupon for the 4K release so like a fool, I gave in to the completionist in me and bought it today. Looks like you already got answers though.I’m curious, did anyone here get any of the home media releases of the film? I consider it a trainwreck of a movie, but still I’ve been thinking about getting the blu-ray, both out of a sense of completeness but also because moderating this forum is a fun memory that I’d like to commemorate that way.
I’ve been able to find out precious little about the various bonus features listed on the back of the blu-ray. So I’m wondering what people who own it have to say about the features. Anything interesting on there?
