But you can't leave off the most gorgeous fictional spacecraft of all time, can you?
We could be watching Captain Seven right now.
Why would they put a Star Wars ship in there? But you can't leave off the most gorgeous fictional spacecraft of all time, can you?

I'm glad to be watching a Star Trek series I actually want instead of Lord Terry's toybox. We could be watching Captain Seven right now.
If you count Harve Bennett's pitch, it goes back to the late 80's/early 90's.SFA dates back to 2018.

Hell, some rumors suggest Roddenberry himself considered the idea back in the 70s.If you count Harve Bennett's pitch, it goes back to the late 80's/early 90's.![]()
No thanks. After 2 episodes I can safely say Academy is far more interesting than anything from Lord Terry. We could be watching Captain Seven right now.
It wasn't--the classic TOS 1701 was there leading the charge. But you can't leave off the most gorgeous fictional spacecraft of all time, can you?

There are many, many, many opinions discussed and debated on these forums daily. And everyone is entitled to their opinions and we should respect them.* Actually, I suppose the Movie Enterprise is the outlier. No Sovereign, no JJ-prise. But you can't leave off the most gorgeous fictional spacecraft of all time, can you?
He did. He discussed it in 1968 at World Science Fiction Convention.Hell, some rumors suggest Roddenberry himself considered the idea back in the 70s.
SNW is also coming out this year, isn't it? Maybe Paramount hears the feedback and updates it, and maybe then we get the Cerritos. They might put other ships in the S2 intro, or even later S1 eps

Need a Protostar class ship.
That's still an opinion, but everyone is entitled to said opinion. Sometimes I feel 2001: A Space Odyssey's Discovery is the 2nd greatest/most visually appealing fictional spaceship (exterior & interior) ever created, but others may have valid reasons to disagree with that choice. The same applies to the refit 1701.And the refit Enterprise as seen in TMP is the most beautiful fictional spacecraft ever created. Not a matter of opinion. Just a simple, objective fact.
