What's the best way to track my Star Trek reading?

I've read about eight or nine novels in the past several months and have been using two apps to track that reading - Bookmory to track reading progress (currently on a two week streak!) and BookBuddy to track titles read. Surely there must be an easier way, right? How do other Trek book readers track this sort of thing?

A custom column in Calibre also works. Most of the Star Trek novels I have bought are DRM free, so it's easy to get them into Calibre and add metadata.

If you use a KOBO, you can use KOBO utilities to pull down data as well.

Good to know if I read via ebook.
Goodreads can do both but it is a lackey of Amazon if that bothers you.
I use a Kindle for my ebooks. I don’t know why, but Goodreads never seemed welcoming to me.

A personal Excel spreadsheet or Word file could be used.

Another option is startrekreadingorder.com. You can mark titles as Read or Skipped when you are signed in.

I am old fashioned.

I guess I am probably also old-fashioned, in that I don't track my reading at all. Never really understood the impetus to do so, although based on this thread, it is seemingly a popular thing. But this isn't a work thing where I have to show my progress or anything; it's supposed to be leisure, so I just read what I want when I happen to have available time. (The available time, unfortunately, seems to be getting less and less as the years go on.)

If I were so inclined to do so, though, I would probably just do it in a spreadsheet. Then it's pretty easy to make basic graphs if you want to see if line goes up, or whatever.

I have a horrible memory, so if I didn't have a way to track what I've read and what I own, I'd probably end up in an endless loop of rereading and rebuying the same books over and over again.

If you read on the Kindle app, then you can also mark your books as "read" on there too. I've been using Goodreads for years now, and I've never had any problems with it.

I can certainly see keeping a list of things you've bought, so that you don't accidentally buy them again. I have definitely made such lists before.

As for tracking your actual reading... well, it's certainly not the first time I've been out of synch with the majority of society!
