If I have a problem with it it's that Kylo should be using more raw Force.I don't disagree, although some of the really bad editing errors take me out of it.
Absolutely beautiful to look at, though.
You're a Skywalker man, act like it!

On of the things that helped me with "seen it before" was the fact that this history felt shared. It wasn't just Old Ben rambling on about stuff I didn't know, but people who lived in this world now telling stories and having heroes and excitement. It was very different for me because I was all in on Rey as a character and her attitude just worked. Not for me. I kept getting taken out of the movie and back into the real world because of all of the parallels to ANH. I just kept thinking, "I've seen all this before".
What do you think were Filoni's contributions to The Acolyte over the wishes of Headland? What do you think Headland would have done without Filioni that would have been more successful? Where do you feel the he steered The Acolyte in such a way to where it was canceled by Disney whereas The Mandalorian and Ahsoka were both renewed? (Even The Book of Boba Fett has been quietly abandoned as opposed to being announced as canceled by Disney.)
A majority of people don't pay attention to who the studio presidents are. Outside of Star Wars fandom, the president of Lucasfilm isn't going to be noticed by any in the audience. Even within fandom, the more casual fans who are the bread and butter studios crave probably care less if the position is held by someone named Dave Filoni or Splashy New Name. Besides, a majority of the work Filoni has done for Star Wars has been positively received amongst fandom and general audiences alike. He wouldn't have been promoted to Chief Creative Officer otherwise, nor would he have even been in consideration to be a studio's president.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of experience do you have running a major Hollywood studio? I'm assuming it must be quite a bit since you appear to know how to do it better than other people who have been doing it for decades.

Well, that statement was certainly full of of words. That is why it would have to be a big name. Also at this point they need to win back fans who do keep up with this kind of information. I feel like casual fans are easier to win over than the long term fans because causal fans could care less if Star Wars is good enough. They will only go to a movie if they think it looks like it will be good.
Sometimes statements have words they don't even need!Well, that statement was certainly full of of words.
The Gilroy brothers were not huge Star Wars deep fans, yet Andor was wildly successful. They had people on staff to make sure the show fit the world.I think the show ironically would have been worst without him. He I think clearly knows Star Wars in and out better than Headland. Like I said. He doesn't deserve much if any blame for the shows failure. I like the guy.
Not only will it never happen, it never should happen. And I say that as someone who is not a fan of the sequels. It'll never happen, but now that Kennedy is out I'd like to see the ST de-canonized and redone properly.
I don't have a lot of positive things to say about Abrams, but his preference for using practical effects over CG whenever it's, erm, practical is one thing I enjoy about his work. The creature work in TROS is joyous. JJs sense of any kind of believable political structure is ridiculous but his ability to make the worlds feel ALIVE is amazing.
And who is a big name among potential studio presidents? Anyone big enough to be known amongst the general public is in a tier one league of Hollywood where running a company like Lucasfilm would be a major step down. You seem to be working from a mistaken premise that running a studio is the same as being a celebrity. It's not. No one's going to see some Splashy Name announced as the new Lucasfilm president and say "Oh, So and So is now in charge of Lucasfilm? Guess I'll now check out Star Wars again." That's not how this shit works. At all. That is why it would have to be a big name. Also at this point they need to win back fans who do keep up with this kind of information. I feel like casual fans are easier to win over than the long term fans because causal fans could care less if Star Wars is good enough. That is the impression I also get. I am glad they decided to go with two people for the job. It's one thing I like about their choice.AI search tells me someone called "Lynwen Brennan" will be running things with Filoni. She's probably the suit.
please don't.AI search
Hell no. People should live and learn from mistakes, don't throw them out.I'd like to see the ST de-canonized and redone properly.
