And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I wish HBO would go back to making original shows again and stop doing franchises, even if they have done a decent job at times like with Penguin. In the olden days shows like Severance and Pluribus would have been HBO shows.

HBO has a show that came out recently called Task.

It's terrific.

Poker Face is a franchise???

I'm assuming that if it's picked up and they go with a different actor like Peter Dinklage like the reports have stated, that it's possible they would treat it as a spinoff series. It makes the most sense since retools will sometimes change enough for them to considered a different series.

They'll have to change the name to "poke his face".

The latest streaming series you didn't know existed, or if you knew about it you didn't realize it wasn't meant to be just a miniseries, has been canceled. Hotel Costiera at Prime Video.

Leverage: Redemption has now been cancelled.

I love leverage conceptually, they do a good twist or con sometimes, it makes me feel like the first time I saw the Sting, but week to week it's really extremely vanilla.

Every episode is about how they have to save the orphans, who are retired veterans working at an almost nearly bankrupt special needs horse farm.

Besides, the original cast doesn't want to be there and it shows.

Just looked into why Timothy Hutton left. A rape accusation in 2019, based on something that happened in 1983, which the police have chosen not to persue.

There's a British show called Hustle, that may scratch your itch waiting for the next Leverage reboot.

It's not related to the topic, but they will definitely announce when the classic Sesame Street episodes, around 90 episodes in total, will be released, along with the shows coming in 2026.

Tony & Ziva has been canceled by Paramount+ after one season.
An estranged couple raising a child while doing security jobs?

I would have called the show "Tony and Ziva Bang like they're Teenagers"

Every episode starts with a sex farce, where you see nothing, but they almost get caught, or fall out of a tree or the hot air balloon runs amok, and then they shoot people to save the president of France, meanwhile that kid has gone feral from waiting for any adult supervision whatsoever to pour them a bowl of cornflakes.

But they did what they did, which was relatively nothing, and now it's over.

NCIS died for me the day Abby split.

I feel the same way, but even then Abby was the only fun part to the show sometimes, the plots really didn't keep be watching much more beyond that. I think Mark Harmon had his dog on set most times and depending on what story you have read it liked to bite people and Pauley Perette was one of the victims

NCIS occupying a decent primetime spot when all of its spin offs seem to flame out lately is odd. If the original is still doing good ratings, keep it around and make an "old people procedural night" on a Friday or a Sunday or something.

Friday night belongs to Danny Reagan.

I wonder when they would actually consider ending NCIS. I assume Sean Murray is going to stay until the end. There doesn't seem to be any end in sight for Grey's Anatomy or SVU.

SVU is still going?? I dropped out when it became the Olivia show. Didn't she take a more prominent role in decision making?
