The Oath of Celibacy hasn't been taken?
Before i got to this explanation, the way the original email was worded had me leaning towards something with the electronics.I saw a reply on Facebook that someone had contacted customer service and had been told it was an issue with the lighting system.

That 2000% increase was specifically quoted by Retrospect Studios' art prints by painter Kavita Maharaj. While fees are probably going up across the board, I don't think it's a one-to-one thing and every licensor who had a Star Trek deal prior to the Skydance merger has had their fees go up 20 times.I read on Reddit that the Skydance/Paramount merger has resulted in 2000% increase of licence fees for merchandise. Is TOMY, Fanhome, LEGO, Master Replicas, etc. going to survive that?
the post on reddit is worded oddly, but it reads to me the 2000% increase isn't on licencing fees, but on royalty minimums, which is a sales based metric - so more likely to effect the sales of niche items that don't do big numbers. It may be that print seller and jacket company don't make enough royalty revenue to be worth the trouble. I tried to do a licencing deal with a big pharma company once for an aspect of their technology and they told me that my company wouldn't sell enough product for it ever to be worth it for them to even bother paying their attorney to do a licence and then have their accounting people keep track of our royalty payments.I read on Reddit that the Skydance/Paramount merger has resulted in 2000% increase of licence fees for merchandise. Oh, yeah, they should be visible from that angle, shouldn't they? I remember they said they were going to try to eliminate them, but since they've been on all the prototypes up until now, I figured that wasn't practical.Wait a sec, this model doesn’t have the struts for the saucer section!!?
