The James Bond Film Discussion Thread (With Bonus Lazenby!)

That would be fun doing that ride in a cello case. That secret cinema thing looked fun what did you do?

Technically there was 'game' things for you to solve but for the most part it was just a wonderful vibe, there were bits set up as Madagascar, other bits as the casino and Italy and Miami airport. And then at the end you got to see CR on the big screen. It's weird to think back to that time now as it was just a few months before the pandemic.

It was a great Bond weekend because I did that on the Saturday night, and then on the Sunday I had a ticket for the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London film museum.

In answer to your question, LALD came out about 18 months after I was born but DAF’s release is closer in time to my birthday, being about 4 weeks earlier.

Looking at release dates, Mom was pregnant with me when OHMSS came out and I would have been about 18 months old when DAF hit the big screen.
My brother would have been 6-7 months when DAF came out.

I was 6 years and 3 days old on the US release date of Dr. No…I do not, of course, remember the movie at that time, but I have a distinct memory of how my dad looked in the suit I later learned was intentionally purchased in the style of Bond’s suit!

there is probley an alternate earth where the james bond was created in the 1940s then about 100 james bond movies and 200 james bond spinoffs since the 1950s by different bond production studios over the years
