I think I'm looking more forward to this than Stranger Things. I'm really looking forward to seeing Lucy and the Ghoul as a team. I thought they had good chemistry in Season 1.
Great start. All the storylines are already getting me invested, especially the one with Norm and Vault 31. Lucy and the Ghoul already have awesome chemistry.
People are now theorizing that Justin Theroux is actually playing Anthony House, not Robert House.
So maybe that was the real House on the TV, and not a body double. Somehow he survives the war and replaces House in the 'present' after he dies during or after the events of New Vegas.
Anthony is Robert's half-brother, and runs H&H Tools company in the lore, and he really was going on about that H&H drill. The company was technically left to both of them by their father, but Anthony had his lawyers find a way to cut Robert out of the inheritance.
All of this is explained in a series of terminal entries at the H&H Factory in New Vegas, so unless you're one of those people who love to read every note (or the wiki) most people probably don't know Anthony exists.
The Extras section on Prime Video have a BTS video for Episode 1, and a couple fake talk show videos with Jon Daly interviewing Ella and Justin.

Interesting idea. I'm trying to think if in the interviews Justin Theroux if they referred to his character with a first name or just Mr. House. I honestly can't remember for sure now.
It was a great start to the season, the stuff with Lucy and The Ghoul was definitely the highlight for me.

Yeah, I'm especially curious to see where they're going with that storyline.
if you watch the later in this season after the first episode, you see the original Mr. House actor still popping up, plus they had him in the beginning of the episode when it replayed Cooper listening in on the meeting. You are probably right about them being the 2 brothers, we shall see
Having only started the New Vegas game ages ago and not playing for long i am completely unfamiliar with the storyline of Vegas and the characters but even then i figure the writers of the show might either throw some curveballs or just write something completely original and only use the setting and some recognizable characters.
Love the episode, one slips right back in and i forgot how gory that show is but they make quickly sure you are reminded
I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the season as some shows wind down until new years ( Mighty Nein, Stranger Things) but others soon spinning up like Rookie and The Pitt in very early January - good times for some TV
In related news since im a miniature wargamer - Fallout Factions, a miniature game from the Fallout universe, is awesome and i'm having tons of fun playing it
