Well, no, not the "master her emerging psychic ability" part or the mystery embroiling her parents. My point is that they apparently just copied the season 2 description as a placeholder because they probably don't have a summary for season 3's story arc yet, or aren't willing to reveal it.

But that's still the same broad description as season 1.

So much for my Carol Kane theory!

...however, Eva Green is an excellent consolation prize, especially since she's another Burton veteran.

But fingers still crossed for a Carol Kane role in the third season to keep up the tradition.
 
It seems to be the norm these days to cast Gomez as Latino but not Morticia -- Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston, Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron (the 2019 animated movie and its sequel), Luis Guzman and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Although Wednesday is the first production to cast Pugsley, Wednesday, and Fester as Latin.

Hey, I just realized we've had two Morticias who were named Jones and whose first names started with C.
 
There are fans on social media who are unhappy with the choice of Eva Green, as she has worked with Roman Polanski in the past and defended Johnny Depp and Roman Polanski.
