Has Mavel released extended versions of any of their movies? I know a lot of them have had deleted scenes as extras, but that I don't remember seeing them actually put them back in any of their movies.

Nope. Kevin Feige isn't a fan of directors cuts or extended editions.

Well, No Way Home had an extended cut, but since that movie isn't 100% just Marvel I'm not sure if it counts.

That's so wonderfully sweet and I love that Marvel went out of their to include them in this film and produced this lovely tribute.

That actually makes me feel kind of sorry for them, it sounds like they really put their everything they had into making their Fantastic Four, and it ended up being for nothing. At least now people are finding ways to watch and they're finally getting some recognition.
I'm glad they're finally getting their long overdue recognition and perhaps someday the film will get remastered (but not with updated special effects) and released properly.

This is one case where I have been tempted to watch it even though it's not officially supposed to be available. Some of what I've seen looks pretty cheesy, but in a fun campy sort of way.

Yeah, that was where I was going to watch it, but I just wasn't sure if I'd get in trouble for talking about it since it is technically illegal to watch it.

You should watch the movie and you should watch this documentary, as this gets into much more honest detail about what happened with the 1994 Fantastic Four movie.

I saw this on D+. Not bad. Very predictable. Great cast and visuals. Wanted more. I'm feeling generous, and I'll give it a B. I want the team back, and I hope their next film is better.

I hope there is a next film...
They're going to be in Avengers: Doomsday, the scene at the end of Thunderbolts with their ship showing up and Doom's appearance in the post credits scene were set ups for Doomsday.

So, Everett Burrell and John Vulich did the effects work on this movie. They both got their start as Tom Savini's makeup assistants as well as background zombies on George A. Romero's 1985 movie "Day of the Dead".

I really wanted to love this but had to settle for liking it. There is much to like. The design is glorious, from the costumes to the retro-tech, to the look of New York. The cast were all great, the chemistry & dynamic between them all was great (I could’ve done with a little more bickering between Ben and Johnny) and the plot nicely balanced the personal and the world-threatening.

I liked how, like this year’s Superman, it began with our hero(es) established and with a past (obviously 4 years, rather than the emphasis on 3s in Superman’s opening scroll). And the space scenes make me wish Matt Shakman had made that Star Trek film. Lots of nice in-jokes and nods like HERBIE or the empty Latveria chair at the UN.

Ultimately, though, it just didn’t feel like top-tier Marvel. It was better than Captain America: BNW but not as good as Thunderbolts. Hard to say exactly why it didn’t land; perhaps we’ve just seen all these powers and threats too often.

Count me as another who expected to see them moved to the rest of the MCU during this film. It actually seems a bit of a shame that we won’t get to see them do so in a sequel - Doomsday may well feel crowded or rushed. Of course, I remember 13 or 14 years ago saying that I wish we’d gotten a second WWII-set Captain America film before The Avengers.

Expected more from the post-credits scene but I can see why they want to maintain the mystery about Doom.

Having watched it again without the anticipation and excitement I was feeling during my first viewing, I feel a little less enthusiastic about it. First of all, I would have liked to have seen something more with the Mole Man at the start of the movie. That opening sequence felt rushed. They didn't have to cut all those early scenes. The other issue I have is the movie really falls apart when the team returns from space. I slows down to a snail pace, before picking back up with the arrival of Galactus.
