Spoilers All Things STAR WARS - News, Speculation & Spoilers Thread

The Mods?
No, they would go in the other category. But I was talking about stuff in the Boba Fett show.

I feel like a lot of people just didn't get the joke with the Mods' slow-motion chase. I mean its a bunch of street kids on scooters chasing down a fussy bureaucrat through narrow, crowded, windy streets; did anyone seriously expect him to suddenly turn into Steve McQueen behind the wheel?
Also; Robert Rodriguez has a very well documented history of embracing absurdity and action in equal measure, I don't know why anyone would expect he'd treat Star Wars any differently!

Looking at it that way, the slow chase does make a lot more sense.
As for the worst part of the Disney era Star Wars, the general consensus from what I've seen is that it's either the Rise of Skywalker or Resistance. But I've never understood the hate they seem to get, I thought Rise of Skywalker was great, and while Resistance was definitely the weakest of the animates series, I didn't think it was that bad.

The Mods were one of my favorite part in a very enjoyable series.

Resistance wasn't bad, it was just lackluster, and a disappointing waste of what could have been a very fun and refreshing concept. Part of that I suspect was a compressed production timeline since it only had two seasons coming hot on the heels of Rebels, and seemingly under certain studio mandates that may have hobbled it from the jump.

As for tROS; far and away my least favorite Star Wars movie. That said, from a purely technical and performance standpoint; it's a very well made movie. My issues are to do with the overall story concepts, narrative direction, and creative choices that are specific to it as a Star Wars movie. I can't point at any one thing, but there's a lot of little things that built up to the point that by the end of the movie, I was entirely disengaged.
There's definitely fun moments and memorable additions to the franchise in that movie, but like all of the ST, it doesn't add up to a satisfying and coherent whole for me.
