Does anyone think Star Trek Legacy will ever happen?

The gray hair looks more like artistic interpretation to me.

Alternate-timeline Janeway.

Also Janeway:

Okay, Janeway had gray hair in Endgame and Prodigy. Not sure how that's relevant to this novel cover's use of artistic license makes Seven and Raffi's hair look gray in parts.

I'm assuming it's gray for a reason (the reason being it's either an alternate timeline or a time travel story).

Otherwise, why put the gray in there at all?

To denote the passage of time between the end of PIC season three and the events of this novel?

You do realize there's about twenty years between Janeway's relative age in those two screencaps?

I thought the Endgame Janeway was an alternate timeline?

Endgame Admiral Janeway went back in time to bring Voyage back sooner.

As it now looks like S&S is doing a post-finale Picard novel set aboard the Enterprise G, it's now looking like a very real probability that Legacy is not happening at all.
Alright, looks like I was wrong. According to the just released blurb for this novel (which you can read by clicking on that link in my quoted post) it is not in fact a post-finale novel set aboard the Enterprise G, but rather takes place during the gap year between the Picard finale's main story and final scene. So the existence of this novel does not in fact mean anything in regards to Paramount's plans (or lack thereof) for Legacy.

Though I still don't believe Legacy will happen, but that's beside the point.

The Abrams films were the Kurtzman treatment of TOS.
Yeah, meant Kurtzman treatment of TOS for TNG but fingers didn't complete the thought. :D

Guess could easily telescope to DS9 or Voyager. At the time I was joking Ving Rhames for Picard with a lollipop. Maybe Michael B Jordan for Worf or Sisko? Pedro Pascal for Riker or Chakotay? Ana de Armas as Troi?

Fassbender or Fiennes for The Doctor? Sidney Sweeney as Seven?
