And a fine show it is.I'd say Stargate SG-1 was probably my favorite show
If I may drift slightly, Chris, can you discuss your TV role in SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT? (Don't we all.)(:
Haha, I had to google this but I laughed.Troy McClure from The Simpsons
Hey thanks for visiting!Hi everyone! I did one of these on Reddit and one of the users said I should come over here to say hi, too! Promised I would after 310 aired. Thank you all for watching! I admit I combed through the 305 ep thread and was so cool seeing all the fan theories, some of which got quite close to nailing it!
But anyway, feel free to ask me any questions! I'll also say you can follow me on Instagram where I occasionally post SNW stuff and more from my general acting career --> @chrismyersinc
Thank you, Chris!Honestly not that heavy! Lots of foam-y parts that were painted to look heavier. But I remember the dimensions being wide. And the staff was actually really heavy. So all together, with the obstructed vision, the most difficult part was walking down the stairs out of the portal (before I make everyone stab their eyes out).
Actually no! In fact, when I left for episode 5 I didn't even have the contract to come back for 310. Even though folks were hinting at it on set. But if I recall, there's actually a rule that prevents them from shooting in such a way that mixes episode content because it would be a great way for them to essentially reduce rates for laborers (like actors) who are paid by episode.
Ya know, Event Horizon comes up a lot in online discussions and it was def a reference for the writers, so I gave it a rewatch. But actually, a lot of what I did drew upon my theater training background, specifically the extensive voice and physical training we did at Juilliard. Normally, you don't actually need to use that stuff as much for TV, but creating this wide arc and transformation, plus the genre of it all, made it feel necessary to activate acting technique, instead just like "in the moment" realness.
McClure's the actor that time forgot.....like that movie we forgot the title of.Haha, I had to google this but I laughed.
Welcome to the boards. Great job playing Gamble and then Vazda Gamble. The Costuming in the temple actually reminded me a little bit of the masks from the TNG episode Masks. Was that an inspiration?
Have you ever been confused with the other Chris Myers in Hollywood?
I checked, and apparently there are lots of Actors / Non-Acting related People in Hollywood called Chris Myers.
@uwschris, what can we do to get you to convince Melanie, Ethan, Babs or any of the others to follow your example and come here to answer our questions?![]()

It'll be hilarious when you're both cast in the same show.Haha yes, I've long since glared at White Chris Myers, but he's old and does football stuff so little confusion. It's the more recent rival on the scene, Black Christopher Myers I gotta watch out for.
Hate it when they make the same List. It'll be hilarious when you're both cast in the same show.
You'll get to do the IRL Spiderman pointing at each other meme.
Peyton List had the same issue with the other Peyton List in one of the shows where they were both in it.
Sounds pretty cool. Would they adjust things on the fly? It's very immersive, which beats the old school green screen. But if that were all we used, it would probably be a bit of bummer. For one, the few practical set pieces you get tend to be sparse (it's only fleshed out for viewer). It's best we do a mix of AR Wall, built sets, and on-location. For us, and for the viewer!

And, did you keep any parts of props or costume?
