I have to admit, I came really close to turning it when they had the eye octopus in the cat, eye stuff really freaks me out. I've watched it more times than I can count, but I still cringe and almost have to close my eyes when the needle starts to go into Picard's eye in the opening of First Contact.

Well this week it gets a lot worse.

Yeah, that was nasty.
Poor Nibs has some serious issues, I'm thinking they should have done some deeper psychological testing before they picked her.
Well that redhead is obviously defective. I would turn her off.
I would like to think that they would take at least some time to consider the fact that she is a person, and wouldn't be that quick to just kill her.
Have we seen that chest buster cobra before?
I was relieved to see they gave Joe a new lung and didn't put the one with the chestbuster tadpole back in him.
But they did destroy any thoughts I had that Prodigy might not be that bad with the way they treated Joe.

A slower episode this week but no less effective for that. We’re definitely seeing Prodigy’s nasty side and I suspect it might get worse still. And the writers are doing a great job of giving everyone their chance to shine.

Can anyone explain how Morrow was communicating with Slightly? Did I miss or forget something this or last week?

He planted a sort of communication device he pulled from his finger onto Slightly and it sort of melted into his skin making it invisible. Not that i can even begin to understand how tech works in 150+ years but still an impressive piece of tech.

Now that Kirsh however has discovered this but not immediately reported it to his overlord i wonder if now there is another player in play complicating things.

It was an interesting episode, especially seeing some of the kids developing in different ways. Nibs, the redhead, obviously is suffering from severe trauma after her encounter with eye octopus monster, Slightly is being manipulated extremely by Morrow, Wendy is becoming the Alien Whisperer and that other kid is trying to learn ( nifty ability to just download knowledge).

What i find fascinating though is how their child mental stage is coping with events that fully formed and secure adults would have difficulties to navigate but they have given them superhero level bodies and they don't realize how powerful and scary they can be to adults as evidenced from the discussion between Nibs and that female scientist ( i am so bad with remembering names).

So we have a Chestburster in play now, what could go wrong? :shifty:

Thank you!

Looked similar to the ones from previous movies, even with the little arms as in Aliens, but closely attached to the body like in Alien. That first one was yellow, not dark though. I forgot if the later ones were as dark as this one.
