Spoilers Peacemaker: Season 2 - Discussion and Spoilers

Situation A.

Shiara falls through a magic door, and is lost on the other side of the galaxy with no resources except the wings on her back and a trillion dollars worth of nth metal screwed to a stick.

Situation B.

Shiara has a ship with advanced computers that can hack anything, and replicators that can counterfeit anything else.

Situation C.

As a prelude to invasion, the spy Shiara Holl will attempt to assimilate and ingratiate herself into the mechanics and features of basic human culture for the intention of subterfuge and sabotage, so she may be pretending to have no resources, when actually, she has everything thing she needs to flip the board.

:)

I was imagining Situation. B.
Shayera (if you're Thanagarian} or Shiera and Chay-Ara.(If you're a reincarnated Egyptian) Though this version seems to be Kendra. Oh. and Ms. Sanders if you're nasty

Wow. Folks are not in good places. Harcourt in the bar was actually painful to watch. Peacemaker finding this alternate life where his brother and father are alive and everything seems wonderful just made me ache for him. I'm excited to see where this all goes.

This version of Harcourt was not in Black Adam, so she has never had the triple blessed experience of sharing air with the Rock.

I was thinking "Did Peacemaker's dad (in the regular DCU, and DCEU) only become racist after Kieth died, or is the otheruniversal America where August Smith is still alive (Return of the LIving Dad!!!) far more tolerant and accepting of racism?" But then I read his back story from the comics, Smith was a Nazi tank commander/war criminal who escaped justice for the longest time, by faking it as an American, so now I'm realizing that the brightest timeline Smith Family might be living in a universe just like the sitcom friends where %98 of the black people in the US died or lost the ability to speak, in 1990.

Except the song was related to what was going on in season 1. Gunn talked about it on the podcast. Presumably, the song for season 2 also has meaning to what this season is about.

And James Gunn just isn't the type to repeat a needle drop.
I'll just reply to you both at the same time. Yeah I saw the podcast and I get what Gunn is going for. And as he's the creator of the show, I fully support his decision to do things his way. However, it doesn't mean I always have to like the final result. And for me personally, the new opening credits just don't work.

Those poor ARGUS agents, getting attacked by that duck...

So, new episode of the TV show obviously means also a new episode of the podcast, and Freddie Stroma is back to explain himself about that tighty-wighties dance:

I laughed way too hard at the body refusing to stay in the cabinet. I don't want to know why Adrian has bone saws. Fleur is an asshole.

Eagly is a one duck wrecking crew! Including badass hero walk

Right now the show is very depressing, no one is dealing well being blacklisted and Peacemaker has drawn the worst lot it seems. I still wonder what the general story will be about, there's some indications though especially with Rick Flagg Sr. being on the revenge path and that alternate dimension Chris is exploring/visiting.

I have no clue how that will all fit together but at some point the death of alternate Peacemaker will surely come out, Flagg will be on the warpath able to wield Argus ressources and our anti-heroes will be in the middle of it.

Of course, the obvious thing to do is for Peacemaker to somehow fool Flagg into thinking the corpse of his doppelganger is actually him...and then take his place in the alternate universe.

But this being the nutso show that it is, none of that will happen. At best, it'll lampshade those obvious ideas.

it certainly won't happen, because Chris and Adrian already got rid of the corpse.
