Movie makers have always taken the advice when they want to. That's why it's "advice" and not "orders"Whatever happened to technical and scientific advisors anyway?

I thought this too but wondered was it just a red herring. The show didn't exactly make it clear, but I think one of the crew members ( Tang ) might have been a synthetic. He was doing stuff that recalled David in Prometheus.
Definitely in the last 15 years it's just another big flashy plot point.Spaceship crashes being totally no big deal is becoming an overused trope of late.
Replaced by the cigar smoking money men. At least, that's what I'd like to think.I've noticed that, which only means that just notice it more and more. Whatever happened to technical and scientific advisors anyway?
I seem to be the only who who found Romulus… okay, but no game-changer. It was an Alien movie. To my mind, it was “just another Alien story”, in the same way that most modern Alien comics miniseries are. Perfectly good, well-made, but it was basically just “this year’s episode”, if that makes sense.I strongly recommend that you do
Sometimes but usually they capture people so they could be either impregnated by a facehugger or turned into an egg.Killing is kind of what they do. Though, sometimes Xenomorphs use their prey to incubate their "offspring."
That's what I meant by "incubate". The egg thing is a bit murky as I recallSometimes but usually they capture people so they could be either impregnated by a facehugger or turned into an egg.
You're not.I seem to be the only who who found Romulus… okay, but no game-changer.
Looked like a man in a suit (distractingly so at times) to me. Though I'm sure there were some digital shots.I watched the first 2 episodes and enjoyed them but I thought the computer generated xenomorph was a bit rubbish.
You’ve seen one Xenomorph, you’ve seen all the Xenomorphs you ever will…You've seen one Xenomorph, you've seen them all.![]()
Gonna change my name to "Ripley."You’ve seen one Xenomorph, you’ve seen all the Xenomorphs you ever will…
That was very Resident Evil that. Where’s Leon when you need him.I found that eye monster-controlled cat much more scary than the xenomorph.
If you read the comics and books there are multiple different types. The Alien King for exampleYou've seen one Xenomorph, you've seen them all.![]()
That was fun. It’s a shame the movie wasn’t that great. They must have hired the Picard production crew for that one since it was so bloody dark.I like the praetorian from AvP2
I haven't for years. No interest. If you read the comics and books there are multiple different types. The Alien King for example
I actually thought I saw a connection to Romulus, if only in the sense of shared plot elements.
