Still there can't be denying that Superman, Thunderbolts and Fantastic 4 should be doing at least double the box office income

In a perfect world at this time the box offices should look like this

8. FANTASTIC 4 ($568M)

The actual numbers are quite low. Superman 2025 should just about reach "Man of Steel's" 600 million. So how can they say it's a success if we're back to a 12 year old total? Shouldn't they be doing much better?

What should it be doing so it is not a catastrophe?

Total box office should be 700M+, given the massive bloated budget of these movies.

Not a stretch, they did it with RDJ and it's not a stretch to think some of the legacy actors are going to be expensive as well.
