Question about the aquatic Xindi

So yeah we have these guys, they live in water are as intelligent as any species in Trek, they have cool ships.

But being an aquatic species how could they build their ships or did others build their ships for them?

They don't seem to have dextrous limbs as we know them. Come to think of that their technology too. How did all that come about?

Let's discuss..

Perhaps Xindi-Aquatic technology is somewhat biological and the ships and whatnot are grown? Actually, this might be true of the other Xindi races too as a lot of the ships have organic qualities? If that's the case, it could be that non-biological technology is added to the biological "shells" to create space-going craft.
The Aquatics do have fingers on their "arms" and they are seen before control consoles on their ships, so they appear to be able to physically manipulate their environment. They may also have some measure of telekinesis?

I'll accept that as good an explanation as any

The Xindi were more or less unified together so it wouldn't surprise me if they had help or there was a lot of trading going on.

The Xindi Weapon itself was built underwater. Why couldn't the Aquatics have built their own spaceships underwater?

I don't see why not but it would be interesting had Trek done more with this species like shown us how they do stuff, I like these odd races that show up in a series as a plot point but are never explored more after that story is long gone.

I've been wanting more Xindi stuff since Season 3 ended. We got something in Prodigy, but the Xindi really were one of the more unique alien trek creations. It was like Enterprise's version of the Dominion, but they had an interesting backstory with the Aviens and the fact that their home planet was already destroyed.

It's one of the problems I have with Star Trek in general sometimes. Some really great ideas and cultures get created and then either just totally forgotten about because they served their story purpose or that the writers haven't an idea at all what to do with them for the future.

There could have been plans to bring back the Xindi, if Enterprise had not been canned by its hapless little network-wannabe UPN.

What might have been in those 3 seasons we didn't get to see! Ah well.
