CD Decks

I'm looking to replace the factory-default CD deck in my Grand Prix with one that is "iPod-ready" because my ear buds annoy me as I'm driving. Using Best Buy's website, I've found four options that will supposedly fit into my car. However, in looking at the product descriptions and specifications, I'm not seeing much of a difference between the four items (beyond price), so I'm looking here for recommendations.

If you were looking for a new CD deck, which of these would you choose?

Kenwood KDC-MP335

JVC KDPDR30

Dual XDMA7715

Sony CDX-GT710

Thanks for your input.

The fact that you wear earbuds while driving is alarming.
I can't help you at all with your car radio issue, but I really hope you stop driving irresponsibly.
Oh, please. It doesn't impact my ability to drive at all. I can still quite easily hear the sounds of other approaching vehicles and the sirens of any emergency vehicles.

Since that's not the topic of the thread, how about just not responding in the future? I'm not interested in talking about anything else in this thread. (Just to be clear: That's a rhetorical question.)

Check out Crutchfield. Their site has lots of information you may find useful and user reviews everything they sell. If you're planning to install it yourself, you may even want to buy it from them. Pretty much everything you buy there comes with the mounting kit and wiring harness you need for your particular car, as well as their "Master sheet" with detailed instructions for installation in your car.

I'm sure there was nothing more there than concern for your well-being, PsychoPere That is a major risk you're taking, and one that in some states is illegal. Make sure you're operating your motor vehicle within the laws of your state, that's all any of us can ask.

And that will be the end of that sidetrack, please, everyone. Let's just talk car stereos here.
