NFL 2025: A new era dawns?

Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, now Jauan Jennings is the latest unhappy wide receiver in San Francisco. Want new contract or a trade.
 
Kansas City WR Rashee Rice gets 30 days for his role in a multi-vehicle crash. He has also paid over $115,000 to the victims for their medical expenses. The league will probably give him a multi-game suspension.
 
A noose was found at the site of the new Tennessee Titans stadium.
Construction has been halted and police/FBI are investigating it as a hate crime.
 
Nick Chubb's one year deal with the Texans is probably his last go-around in the NFL. A RB with that many serious injuries is kind of used up at this point. Obviously I hope he does well being a Texans fan, but I don't see it.

I think he’ll be serviceable as a change of pace to Joe Mixon. I do believe that his days as a workhorse back are over.
 
Huh. This is weird - and more to it, apparently. He's also been charged with arson! Not sure if the vehicle he was in caught fire after the crash or if he subsequently set the fire in the post office after the fact, but it seems he may have recorded the whole thing on his own phone. WTF is wrong with these people? Did a postal worker miss a delivery of his or something? :wtf:
 
Ah, I may have misread on that earlier, then. I knew some recording device was involved but wasn't sure if it was simply recorded or streaming. And, of course, authorities will most certainly use that against him, and possibly even give them a motive.

In fairness, that makes it even more odd. Was it some kind of TikTok challenge gone wrong (as many of them do)?

I hope Cam Ward goes out and has a banger of a season. It is weird that the number 1 pick has been as ignored as Ward was. It was like the ho-hum pick because everyone wondered where Sanders was going to go.

Probably because a lot of people feel this was a pretty poor draft for QB’s. I just hope Ward doesn’t turn into EJ Manual.
 
Remember when Jim Druckenmiller was the only first round QB of his draft? Went ahead of Jake Plummer. Or when Dan McGwire and Todd Marinovich were the only first round QBs in a draft that had Brett Favre.

You never know if a QB has what it takes to succeed at the next level, especially when a bad team can ruin them permanently. Johnny Manziel was never going to succeed, but did the Texans destroy David Carr?

The QBs behind Ward are green, so if they want to sign a veteran, Carson Wentz is available.
