The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

Is this also their first one to appear in theatres? That would make a difference, I'm sure. Everytime I've been to the theatre recently, in the last month or two, they've been showing the trailer.

Paramount should just combine all their properties into one big movie. Maverick is brought out of retirement to join Sonic the Hedgehog to fight the Decepticons when a tear in the space time continuum sends them into the future where they're picked up by the Enterprise.
Needs more Mission: Impossible. :p

Apple? No, but his other movies have tanked at the box office, so this will probably be his first successful movie. Also, Warner Bros. is distributing it internationally. And half of his advertising budget comes from Warner Bros.

Phantom of the Opera is getting a spinoff called Masquerade in New York. It's being called an immersive experience inspired by Phantom, but no one knows yet if it will feature music or be something akin to a walk-through.

They should make up the crew of the Enterprise.

I heard a suggestion that Disney might remake the legendary Gargoyles cartoon. There was an announcement back in 2023, and they're said to still be working on it, only it will be live-action.

I consider the original to be an epic, brilliant, incredible tale, and I would in so many ways much prefer a TV show that continues this tale (I am aware it's been done in comic form). They had better not mess with what made the original so special.

Definitely an unnecessary remake but not this week. Lads, you’ll never top the original.

When are they going to give us the movie we really want and that is "The Last Train to Clarksville?"
