Paramount+ is remaking The Stand, again.

The first one is a classic. The next one, not so much. (M O O N that spells "sucked", laws yes )

The first one (1994) Stephen King had a cameo, I consider that a stamp of his approval.

As good the first movie is the highlight to me is always the opening moments, as the camera pans around showing all the dead people at the base with ""Don't Fear the Reaper" playing over it.
