We can certainly judge what the dialogue would've been like.
Don't hold your breath, that other star franchise keeps waffling back and forth between whether the Jedi were a myth that no one knows about to being openly known. Greef Karga and Kuiil in Mandalorian express disbelief at seeing Force powers yet Tatooine moisture farmers show no surprise at Inquisitor abilities in Kenobi and Zorii Bliss recognizes the Sith language as something to be avoided in Rise of Skywalker.I still want another film or two to properly complete the story of Section 31 becoming something only a select few know about.
I'm thinking there would've been subplots and detours intermixed with these ideas. The main plot would be the A-story, and then what I described above would be the B-story. Or vice versa. Depending on the episode. No offense, but I think you are taking the “We turned the ten-episode season into a one-and-a-half hour movie” thing a little too literally. Maybe I’m misremembering what was said about this, but I think there‘s no reason not to assume there wouldn‘t have been side adventures, detours or just a whole second adventure after the first arc if this were an entire season. The way you‘re splitting up these plot points into entire episodes makes it feel like individual episodes would have been slow as molasses.
I'll stop here for now. Because of the way other seasons of New Trek have been, I'm going to assume that Act II would've been Episodes 4-8. That means there was a subplot (or several) and detours that were cut out for sure, to focus on the main story.
I'm aware that I would surely asphyxiate but the heart will want what it will want and should hope run out I have an indomitable ability to headcanon to fall back on.Don't hold your breath
To be fair, given how the current era has two out of three live action series be fully seasonal arc driven shows (and PRODIGY and LDS basically are too, but at least they did them well and had side quests), it's almost a given that a Section 31 series would have been a fully arc driven show. And given how badly virtually every arc driven season of the live action shows of this era has been, I wouldn't be surprised if it would have been just as slow as what he has described. Just say Star Wars.that other star franchise
If you think you have a case, speak to a lawyer, and see if they'll take it up. If they do, expect to pay quite a bit for their services for something you might not get anything out of. I assume Paramount has a legal team that checks for any sorts of potential copyright issues, in order to protect themselves.Copyrights are very very particular
and only a lawyer can firm it
how many comics are made out of the same idea
how many newspapers the people sell are under the same idea
they're all copyrights and get there you are under the words shared rights, but only a lawyer can confirm it
it is very very specific and when they are in conflict
a lawyer can only tell them apart
because copyrights and shared rights are very very pacific
they can be very close and very similar
names are shared
newspapers are shared
science fiction is shared
character names are shared
think of Dr. who and how many people played him
now think of Capt. James T Kirk and how many people have played
him. These are all under shared rights
but only a lawyer can figure it out
and you have to be very careful
on how you do things
because mostly everything is under a copyright
and very little are hundred shared rights
science fiction is under shared rights
and copied rights depending upon what they want you to use
or not it is very hard to tell
nothings made to be easy
