Are there any fan-favorite/well liked Characters (from any Trek) that you just can't stand?

I’m just struggling with the idea you don’t believe in escapism, yet this board is largely about nothing but escapism.
I wanted to be Captain Kirk for a long time. On some deep level, I still do.
I don't believe I'm it for me. I use to. I still appreciate discussing it.
What did they do or not do to your disliking?
Everyone needs escapism, whether you believe it or not. It is fundamental to who we are.

I always struggled when he had to shoot himself and my poor young brain found that very strange, plus the rudeness towards 20th century people.
I've soften a bit over the years.

I thought the shooting was reasonable. Alternate Picard left the Enterprise and his crew to die. Our Picard thinks that was cowardly and knows he would never do that. He basically saw an imposter in his body. I thought the reaction might have been a little on the tame side.
And as for Kira and Odo?

I’m not sure I follow that, but he did solve the problem.
Anyway, Picard never bothered me (until his own show, anyway). I liked how he was.
I’ve liked most Star Trek characters.
I suppose another one I didn’t like was Booker.
You had a time anomaly and a ticking clock, it was the only solution that seemed to be available within the circumstances presented.
Tom Paris for just being a 90s American man with only the thinnest of scifi veneers on top. Can't stand hearing him talk about cars or tv or whatever.
It just doesn't work for me but I'll be sure to shoot my way out of the next problem. Come here, computer server

He put the needs of the many ahead of the needs of the few. Killing his alter-ego saved the 1,000-plus people on the Enterprise.
Can't really think of anything more "Star Trek" than that.

If you have very limited time and it is one or a thousand and one (because the alter-ego will die as well), what would you do?
