Spoilers Andor - Season 2

I am under the impression that Bail Organa's network is pretty vast and at least moderately funded. It isn't as secure as other groups as it seems to rely a bit on the will of the Force, via Ahsoka. The Ghost crew, Phoenix group and likely Dodanna operate a bit freely. More so than Luthen would like I would think. And Saw is mostly a loose cannon with enough paranoia to secure things. Mon Mothma giving these groups a focus helps

Would someone please fill me in on why there is a feeling out there as to why Rian Johnson does not like Star Wars?...I am relatively new to the Disney Era of Star Wars, and am enjoying what I have seen so far - for the most part.

Those familiar with the "Disney Force" could certainly give me some insight...

Its sort of a joke.

Its just the last jedi is considered the worst by many (ones milage may vary) and one of the criticisms was the way he treated some of the legacy characters and not to mention butcher the character of Finn turning him from a real serious and intresting character to sidelinning him and turning him intogoofy comic relief. Something the actor wasn't happy about either.

Conversely, there are many (myself included) who think it's by far the best of the sequel trilogy and one of the best Star Wars films overall.

The point is there is no definitive or conclusive opinion on the film. In fact, I would say it's the one that divides fandom the most, for better or for worse, considering most fans have a lot of issues with The Force Awakens, The Rise of Skywalker, and Solo (which I loved, so I'm in the minority). The only other modern film that is remotely divisive is Rogue One (I take the extreme opinion of it being my second favorite...after A New Hope).

I have my issues with The Last Jedi, though oddly they don't tend to be the issues that a lot of people have (basically it's too long and bloated and is trying to squeeze a film and a half's worth of plot into a single movie, but most of the narrative choices Johnson made around Luke, Rey, Kylo, Snoke etc I have no issues with. Finn and Poe on the other hand...)

I was curious how how the ratings were split on Last Jedi, so I checked the votes on IMDb (I couldn't think of a better source) and came up with this:

The 'Liked' row is the percentage of people who gave it 7 and above. From these numbers I'd say Last Jedi is a contender for 'most divisive', but not 'most unloved'.

Oh, I also threw in some bonus ratings as well for you! Section 31, to show you the results an unambiguously bad movie gets, and the episode of Andor where Syril fights Cassian, because look at those votes.
