Back To The Future is turning 40!

As far as I'm concerned, the '80s will always be "20 years ago". :p

But on a more serious note, time flies! I managed to see Part I and Part II in theaters at special screenings. Thanks to Fandango or Fathom Events. The only one I haven't seen in a theater is Part III. That one's the most elusive.

I wish there were special screenings of the movie in theaters in the US this year. The year is still young, but I would love to see the original BTTF on the big screen, and just immerse myself in the soundtrack. The only Back to the Future movie I saw on the big screen was 3.

Before the tech boom of the 90's and 2000's and the new housing that came with it, I would say a lot of the suburbs around Seattle definitely had a '50s-'60s look to them.
I think my Dad grew up in one of the first post-WWII housing developments in Burien. It was a '50s style split level. The house my Mom grew up in was built in 1923.
