I thought it was a Octahedron with the Vertexes cut-out & replaced with Deflector dishes.
A Rhombus is a 2D shape, not 3D.

You are correct. I should have wrote polygonal Rhomboid, but I'm sure there was no real issue.
Here is my interpretation of a future Borg ship:
I have always subscribed to the Q-who? Borg... No Queens, or mass assimilations or silly zombie tropes. Just the acquisition of technology, and total dominance. So this is my interpretation of the Borg from the far future: A perfectly smooth surface, that is mutable as needed. I imagine the Borg themselves being smooth and sleek, form-fitting silhouettes with asymmetric forms and aspects that can be converted into any tool needed for a situation, while still possessing their white skin where shown.
