Things that frustrate us all

Also, I find it frustrating that retailers and pharmacies like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc., are no longer selling N95/KN95 face masks. Like I said earlier, I don't do online shopping.

Luckily though Lowes and Home Depot sell N95 masks, but they're the N95 masks that contractors/construction workers use, which are actually uber-comfortable and easy to breathe through.

They only protect the wearer, and that is what you need. You can also find masks at Harbor Freight Tools and Tractor Supply company, if you have one near you.

Someone is still stealing flowers out of my yard. I've been trying to make the yard look a little better since we're trying to sell our flood damaged house. 2 more hanging baskets of petunias and now a bougainvillea that was just starting to look pretty. Someone thinks we deserve to lose everything I guess.:weep:

People who do my two biggest pet peeves as these to me are rude:

-Interrupt me while I'm talking.
-Conversations during meals. I'm there to eat, not to hear about what you're thinking about.

Opposite here. I was raised to engage in conversation at the table (not while chewing, of course). My parents expected us to be able to carry on conversations with adults during meals, whether at home or as a guest in someone else's home.

It provided me with certain skills that I think benefited me in the long run.

Same. I've never not known having a conversation at dinner, either at home or at a friend or relatives house. J̌ust so long as you didn't talk with your mouth full or interrupt the other person who was talking.
I can also remember times when we would read the Sunday paper while having breakfast/lunch. Usually the comics or TV guide; while Dad read the sports and financial pages.

I used to eat like that before joining the Navy. Then in the service, you learn to eat an entire meal in less than 15 minutes. Being a civilian, I will converse after I've completed the meal, but still only need 15 minutes to eat. Others at the table will ask if I want any more, or dessert, and let them know I'm finished, and if they prepared the meal I tell them everything was good.

I don't mind if they want to talk while I'm eating, unless it is to someone else on a cell phone call, on speaker-phone, during the meal, and no one else at the table is involved in the conversation, but will be if they want to talk to somebody else at the table and not be involved in the phone call.

I had an almost new Radar Detector give me a GPS error. It was under warranty. It cost over $50 US to send it back for repairs. I got it back this morning and the company fixed the GPS error, and reset the detector to factory defaults. I just spent 30 minutes putting my changes to the default settings back in the detector.

This is the third time in my life that I've had a compliment that wasn't a compliment because I consider it an insult, I've been told I look like three woman at different points in my life. They were Suzan Boyle, Hermoine Granger and Jessica Gunning in Baby reindeer.

I would consider Hermoine a compliment if she would not have been created by a TERF, Susan was definitely not meant as a compliment because I was in high school and unpopular and boys in my class mocked her, Jessica Gunner in baby reindeer is definitely not a compliment to me

Went to the library to check out a book, only to discover my library card was missing out of its pocket in my wallet. I turned the wallet inside out looking for it. Not only was the Sno-Isle card missing, but King County as well. Both must have fallen out at some point. I had to get a new library card and account number in case someone tried to check out books in my name. I'm going to have to do the same at a King County Library when I return the CDs I checked out.

Just so things aren't left hanging, he greatly improved today, to the point the doctors think he will be ok.

Also, in the TWOK novelization, the 23rd century super computer, with memory crystals supercooled to almost 0 degrees Kelvin, was filled up by two of Carol's staff with the largest video game - one so advanced that it realistically represented a Black Hole in 3d display as a mere background element in the game

The size of that game? A file size so huge that Carol said it dwarfed Saturn?

50 MB.

It's been a loooooong time since i read these novelizations. There's some... Interesting stuff in them. Especially TMP's.
