Star Trek Generations novelization with original Kirk ending available anywhere in digital?

Hi. I’m guessing that this may have been asked in the past at some point but I’m wondering if the Star Trek Generations novelization first edition/hardcover with original Kirk ending is available anywhere in digital format? I’m pretty sure that the Kindle version available via Amazon is the updated paperback version (with Kirk’s death scene mirroring what was in the actual film). I’ve got the hardcover. But I’m just wondering if maybe even just that chapter has ever been shared anywhere officially in a digital format? For comparison sake, without having to locate my print copy (and for those who may not have the hardcover and only have the eBook).

Yeah, it's available the same place you can get an e-copy of the original version of Killing Time with extra slashy bits...

ETA: "the same place" I was referring to is "nowhere". Sorry my attempted joke didn't land. I wasn't suggesting it was available someplace piratical.

I've considered brushing up on an epub editor and manually typing the missing bits back into Killing Time myself, but that would be a LOT of work for something that only I would ever see.

Thanks. I’ve got a copy of the Generations novelization that I downloaded from probably a place very similar to the one you are referring to. (I later went on to buy the officially licensed Kindle ebook version, and, as I mentioned earlier, have had a physical copy of the original hardcover release since it first came out.) But I checked last night and that epub version still has Kirk falling off a collapsing bridge. So, it’s the paperback edition. (Which I also recognized by the price being on the front cover—a paperback range price for back then—and a “Special Edition” starburst in the upper right corner.)

I had no idea there were different endings to the book!

And of the film as well. Kirk's original fate didn't go over well with test audiences or something, since it wasn't heroic enough, so they went back and reshot the climax before the film was released. But by then it was too late to change the novelization, so its initial hardcover edition got published with the original, unseen ending. The paperback release around a year later was rewritten with the theatrical ending.
