@F. King Daniel It could be a reality where instead of Star Trek or a fake version of it with another title, one of his other shows is what he's best known for.

What? Did you not check the date on which this this post was made? 
I suspect they lifted this idea from "Visit to A Weird Planet Revisited" from 1976, sequel to an earlier story "Visit to a Weird Planet" (1968), where Kirk, Spock and McCoy found themselves in the Paramount filming studios after a transporter accident.
I think that's exactly the story I was referring to. I think I have it and other stories in paperback. It was a Bantam book.

I could really go for that. TOS got 3 seasons and IIIRC 21 animated episodes.
Why not have 1 or 2 seasons of SNW with Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Sulu, and Uhura on the Enterprise, showing the beginning of Kirk's command of the ship. Bring in Gary Mitchell as well.
I only want this if they go away from late TOS stuff, and actually center on characters like Lee Kelso, gary Mitchell, Liz Dehner, Alden and Piper. So many of them are barely developed. If Sulu, not on the bridge yet. Maybe Rand. Maybe Kevin Riley. No McCoy. No Chekov. Don't retread things we already have seen a million times.
They've rewritten so much else, giving that a pass would be a very tiny thing for them. Gary's coldness and attitude towards her could be a result of stuff thats happened already. If I'm supposed to get over all sorts of things that I've complained about, they can do this for me. Lmfao. (half joking... but since I already insist its in a rewritten timeline, this wouldn't bother me at all.)

That could have been months ago, and the statement was just a reminder to those that she hadn't interacted with directly yet. Doesn't say specifically who would know that.
Kirk and Mitchell don't seem to know her. She definitely "knows" them, though.
She's read their files in preparation for her assignment, naturally. She knows their types, if not them personally.

Just saying, with some of the other changes and rewrites, and all the times I have been told that its just drawing in between and changing perspective on the characters, this would be a very minor things to get over. if we can create entire relationships, put people on the ship ages before they should, and change people's race, then this is barely a drop in the bucket. If I'm forced to accept it or other things, than I am going to use the same mechanic to push for something I want lol.
