This is making me wish more and more that Korvac was the real "Arc Villain" of this new Saga, with Kang being the one who was trying to contain him in the future but "He Who Remains" getting killed freed Korvac and allowed him to time travel and start messing things up.

You know what I am thinking. If whoever it is that is able to pull out Gambit from that void world, we could also see Blade as well and that might be one of those characters that hasn't been revealed so far. Same with X-23. In fact I I could see X-23 become a regular in any X-Men movies. Also while I don't think Deadpool will be in the upcoming Avengers movie I think we might see him in the second one and we will see why Thor was crying over him in the last Deadpool movie. Also if they do bring Jackman back it should be for a cameo and a funny one. I want to see comic accurate sized Wolverine again like we saw him in "Deadpool." :)

Don't know if they're truly related or just riding the name but Film Threat was an actual print magazine at one time.
I didn't know that. It was the first time I heard that name and that's how I wrote it. Maybe the people at the magazine's helm have turned it into a website.

Probably not the same version. Cyclops is back and we know he's dead, so this is probably an Earth where Gambit was always part of the X-Men.

I was thinking that with all these callbacks to the FOX X-men when will the MCU X-men get a chance to take over?

The longer we keep staying with the FOX X-Men the more they become the definitive image/representation

At some point they have to peel the band-aid and move forward with a new look and style. Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen aren't going to be around much longer.

I doubt that. Seems pretty clear we're looking at multiple different realities on the chopping block and a block of characters representing each of them, so they should all be much more than a cameo.

We might get a "Endgame" type format. One hour each for each team. Endgame was divided into 3 sections

1st hour- Getting the team back
2nd hour-The time heist
3rd hour- The battle

So Doomsday would be

1st hour- The avengers
2nd hour- The fantastic Four
3rd hour- The X-men

In the comics the final Incursion is between the main Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe but it looks like in the movies it's going to be between the MCU and the X-Men Universe. So after 'Secret Wars' it will be open season on recasting everybody, not just the X-Men.

(And I've just realised I guess we can cross Jean Gray off the list of character Sadie Sink could be playing.)

^ So we could be looking at an entire overhaul/rebranding for the next 20 years? For lack of a better term right now an "Ultimate's" chapter?

Did he die again? Last I remember he was alive, via Wolverine changing the timeline in X-Men: Days of Future Past. I didn't watch Apocalypse (Let me amend that, I sat down to watch it and fell asleep because it was boring and remember very little) nor Dark Phoenix so he may have been killed again and I just am not aware.

God knows with the X-Men movies timelines! He's dead in one universe alive in another.

And let's not even get started on the First Class timeline that spans 30 years with the characters barely aging.

Basically all of the X-Men are implied to be dead in Logan except Wolverine and Xavier.

Gambit is from D&W. Beast shows up at the end of The Marvels

We don't know if the Gambit in question will be the version from D&W. It seems rather unlikely, TBH, given that raises the question of where X-23, Blade, and Elekra are, let alone Wade and Logan. I'd guess he's more likely he's playing a Foxverse Gambit who we somehow never quite saw onscreen.

Admittedly, it's almost certainly the Beast from The Marvels. Though unless Monica Rambeau is also in Doomsday, what we find out in the post-credits scene will be pretty skippable.

The Fox X-Men movies were so loose with continuity they have lots of different options for what would be the "canon events" they choose to recognize here.
Isn't the new Falcon from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier?

Admittedly, I forgot about that, since Danny Ramirez had absolutely zero impact on that story.

Similar to Walker, he got a feature film to act as his re-introduction.

Anyway, my point was I'm worried the flop of the Marvels (which was heavily predicated on understanding aspects of Wandavision and Ms. Marvel), may have scared Disney away from having characters/plot points which are meant to directly follow-up on Disney+ exclusive content, so the shows may be shoved into a semi "beta canon" position going forward, where the shows reference the movies (and may even have movie actors dip in), but the movies don't reference the shows anymore.

This is a little bit of fan-service to be including Fox's X-Men as I highly doubt that team will continue beyond this movie. Are we looking at a cameo similar to the ones we saw in the Arrowverse's COIE? Or, more likely, an extended cameo?

That's not true at all, and I'm tired of hearing it claimed. The format of The Marvels was ideal for bringing an audience up to speed without having seen the shows, because the lead characters were meeting for the first time or at least for the first time in decades, so they all had to explain their backstories to each other, which was the perfect way to let the audience learn about them in the process.

We could see these some crazy combination when the worlds are combined. I have a feeling we might see Sadie Sink at the end of the second movie sort of representing the first new in long list of new versions of X-Men characters but a few of old ones might still be alive like Gambit and X-23. It would be something if we saw Wesley Snipes Blade in the first one and at the end we saw Mahershala Ali finally as Blade. Bring in Ms Marvel and we could see the first grouping of Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Ali as Blade,Grammar as Beast, Gambi, Tatum as Gambit, Keen as X-23 and Vellani as Ms. Marvel. Maybe toss in another surprise by seeing the new Professor X or something by whoever they cast.

X-23 is with Deadpool and Logan. The TVA got her out as a favor to them for saving the multiverse and catching Paradox and Cassandra Nova. She's there at the party at the end of the movie.

Any of those other guys who survived long enough were probably rescued along with her I would guess.

Probably more like the Guardians in Infinity War - they'll be the main characters of their own chunk of the movie.
