I thought that DC was doing a great job on this up until the New 52 Reboot. There was a real sense of inter-generational heroes with the younger generation taking up the mantel of the previous. Dick Grayson was Batman, Wally was the Flash, Choi was the Atom etc. Presumably this led to poor sales.
Please let Wolverine steal Jean from him again. It'd be so funny.
And there's all of the F4 now, with Pedro announced.
Nah. Keep that hairy runt away from Scott's girl. His creepy obsession with Jean is one of the few things about the character that I truly dislike.

My guess is they're not counting the one-scene cameos or surprise post-credit appearances. This list is of the cast that will have key roles in the plot itself (Doom/F4, Fox X-Men, Thunderbolts, what's left of the post-Endgame Avengers). We're likely going from the F4 universe to the Fox universe first, wiping that out of existence before moving on to 616, Doom one-shotting the heroes there, then setting up Battleworld at the end.

Missing so far: Rhodey and Fury. Dr. Strange, Wong, and all the sorcerers. The Spideys and their friends. The Marvels. Pepper. Anyone from D+, including Madisynn ("Two N's, one Y, but it's not where you thiiiiiink!"). Bruce Banner. Wasp. Any of the Guardians. Katy Chen (Awkwafina).

It is said that there will be 50 actors in the film, but they only announced about 30. They are probably hiding a lot of names in the film. By the way, these 3 names may only be in Secret Wars.
No Chris Pratt or other Guardians either. No "Young Avengers". No Bethany.
