Marvel's sliding timeline became a much more comprehensible once they retconned the fictional Siancong War to replace World War II, Korea and Vietnam in their continuity.
That would make most 60's heroes in their 80s though. Not that I am against a comic book company with a policy of passing the torch to a younger generation of heroes.
They could've had "Multiple Generations" of Super Heroes with various powers that get passed on to the next generation of children already if they really wanted.
But Marvel intended on keeping the characters the exact same and move them along the timeline to adapt with the times.
I find it more interesting when you can see multiple characters pass off their Storyline Focus to the next generation and let them grow up in the world that is inherited along with the consequences of our past characters getting older.
When it comes to famous Japanese Franchises, Naruto did the same thing by passing on the Storyline to the next generation with Boruto.
Focusing on the Main Characters son and the next generation of Ninjas and the world they inherited from their parents generation.
With a cast this large, I think the word you're looking for is not "star" but "appear."
(And it'd be some A+ misdirection if at least one of the Thunderbolts actually dies in that movie, and doesn't appear in Doomsday. Or maybe only does so in a flashback.)

... No, but seriously, I'd love to see Pepper return, if only to formally hand over leadership of The Avengers organization to whoever.
Perhaps but there is also the possibility, as already mentioned, that one of them could be a variant. Especially since I fully expected to not see David Harbour's name during this announcement and here he is. I still think it's possible Alexei will die.
There's an app where you can get all the names at once, y'know. It's called "check back tomorrow."
I suspect Robert Downey Jr. will be the last name announced and that's how we'll know the livestream is over. I wouldn't be surprised if Pedro Pascal is the second to last name.
So far, all but two of the Thunderbolts (not counting Val) have been announced, and the two that haven't... I think it's safe to say nobody's going to be too upset if they're not there. (In fact, one's practically a ghost already.) So if they don't get announced today, they're likely goners this summer.
EDIT: Okayyyyy, I hereby take part of that back. The ghost is still in the picture.

Since this is supposed to be an announcement "bigger" than Downey as Doomsday I suspect there will be one or more names after his.
