Garrett has the wrong phaser, and Valkris the wrong disruptor. I was wondering how the face splashing Archer glass would turn out XD

Could just give Garrett Captain Sulu's TWOK phaser and that would work. Sulu can dual-wield assault phasers like a boss.

What kind of Phaser is Garrett suppose to have? Dustbuster? TUC? Something else? And Valkris isn't suppose to have a klingon disruptor? My curiosity is peaked lol

Only thing "wrong" with the accessories to me is Valkris having the Genesis Device. Should have saved that for a Khan, Capt. Terrel, Carol Marcus or Kirk's son David.

Wave 2 has Kirk in the GEN vest. I hope he comes with a frying pan, horse, axe, wood pieces, and grave rocks... or rusty bridge debris?

One of just a handful of Kirk variations we’ve never got between Playmates and DST/Art Asylum.

That is probably the best likeness I’ve ever seen in a Kirk figure in the playmates/DST scale.

Hope it holds up past the prototype stage.

Kirk looks absolutely stunning - easily the best older Kirk likeness.

The rest of the first wave looks great. I noticed that Garrett and Valkris have the "wrong" weapons, but I'm not too bothered. Peter Preston with the breathing mask and the charred head is brilliant.

I'll probably order the whole wave, UK customs charge be damned.

Nacelle is killing it with the sculpts on these figures so far! A less uncanny valley likeness of Shatner than the Unification short film.

True, it’s possible and maybe even likely they gussied up a Garrett figure just for the picture.

If it is legit, it would be the last version of Rand I would want to see them make. Gimme TOS or TUC Rand first. Even TMP Rand would be better.

As tempting as buying the bundle of all of them is…I’m back on the fence about Sulu and Tuvix. Maybe if I didn’t have the DST WoK Sulu…

Heh, I don't know what about Shatner's face makes it so hard to capture a decent likeness, he almost always looks a bit off. My personal favorite for a good likeness is the 70s Mego figure. This one is almost there, but the mouth has an expression I don't seem to recall Shatner ever making.

Starting with wave 2 they will do 10 figures per wave. And wave 3 will be an entire “bridge crew” from one of the 5 series (TOS-Enterprise) in their regular duty uniforms. They intend to do every bridge crew in a particular wave. But staggered.

My favorite part:

Whereas my company is my company. If I want to do Star Trek — and I want to do Star Trek! — I can do Star Trek. All I need is 0.5% profit.
