I may be putting too fine a point on the matter, but IIRC, I wager that Eaglemoss/Herocollector's downfall was primarily due to the overexpansion of multiple lines of ships/figures/collectibles from multiple franchises, coupled with reduced spending due to the COVID pandemic. It essentially caused a massive reduction in profits vs increasing/outstanding debts, hence where we are now.
I believe they still pulled in something like $30 million british pounds during their final year, however their expenses far outweighed that unfortunately, and they had some products that did not move (Alien Ship of the week or anyone remember that awful DISCO Spock figure?).
In Fanhome's case, they may be ok with offering multiple product lines which are essentially one large build a figure/ship/car requiring subscription to build/complete. I imagine this subscription model with offering one large product you piece together vs having multipe models in a line, some of which don't sell well (I am looking at YOU Klingon Disco ships) is a bit more profitable or at least cost-effective.
On a positive note, have to say I do really like the fanhome packaging. Particularly their choice to profile ships on the side in the style they did. IMO, very aesthetically pleasing, particularly if you are forced to stack the ship packaging as I have in the past few years with the DISCO/Picard Line.
I am curious why the Farragut is facing left instead of right - not going to lose sleep over it but one of those things that once you see it, you can't unsee it. (just like USS Discovery's constantly open shuttle bay in Season 2) I will LOL in the future if it is the only ship facing left to right.
