Hell, characters in Disney Era Star Wars don't even die from gut wounds by lightsaber anymore.

Yeah, talk to me about every time in a movie or show that someone has gotten tapped on the head hard enough to be knocked unconscious as some kind of "nature's pause button". So how do we confirm that a character is "Dead"?
There are so many ways to escape what would normally IRL be considered "Death" within Star Trek / Star Wars.
We saw a Section 31 agent "Sloan" escape "Certain Vaporization" by 'Romulan Disruptor' via 'Split-Second Transporter' escape to disguise the vaporization.
There are only a few ways left that I can think of:
1) is "Be-Heading" a person. There's really no coming back from that.
2) Turning a person into "Chunky Salsa", we saw Seven do to that horrible women in ST:PIC S1 to attain vengeance for losing her family member.
