Ships of the Line 2025 calendar

Is there any official information from Doug Drexler or any of the artists involved as to why the 2025 Ships of the Line calendar is all recycled images and not new? I hope this is not a bad sign for the future.

I hope this is not a bad sign for the future.
IIRC, they are doing new images for the 2026 calendar, which is said to be an "epic celebration of Star Trek's 60th anniversary," but no explanation has been provided as to why 2025 is just a Greatest Hits collection. Some have speculated that 2026 has so much work going into it that it just wasn't practical to do a new calendar for 2025, but that's just speculation.

Also, I seem to recall several years ago the publisher wanted a Greatest Hits calendar but the artists protested. Maybe this time they lost the argument?

Question: in the centerfold image ("One Big Happy Fleet," Drexler, 2018), on the far right edge, there's a small vessel between the Enterprise E and the TMP Enterprise. It looks vaguely like the Matt Jeffries-designed AMT "Leif Erikson" kit, but not quite. Anybody know what it is?

And no, I don't mind one bit getting a "best of" SOTL calendar. TOS calendar pictures have included repeats, and so have the TNG calendars, and it's not like I typically see archive calendars unless I'm working out dates in my novel.

I opened my annual Christmas gift (for the last... 20 somethingish years) this year and found it a bit of a shock. The nice thing is that they credit the original years. Which is nice reference.

But HALF of them are from 2018! And all but one are from between 2014 and 2019! (None from the 50th anniversary!) There is one from 2008. That's the earliest year.
