Didn't Q claim to have met God?

I'm sure I read it in one of the novels. I have Q Squared and I can't find the passage but I think he makes the claim in that one and maybe another one. Can anyone help?

How would beings like the Q deal with living with a being like God?

He claimed to be God in the episode where Picard relived his academy days and got stabbed through the chest. Picard scoffed at the idea saying that he refused to believe that the universe was so poorly designed.

If you have a question about the novels, the Trek Lit forum would probably be a better place to ask it.

That said, I think maybe it was I, Q. The novel John de Lancie wrote with Peter David.

OK that's helpful actually. I don't know why I keep thinking it was the novel I had. I must read it again sometime it's a good one too.
