Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

I would likely give Legacy a chance. But it is not what I want.
Exactly.

My disappointment is immeasurable right now and my day is ruined! You're both to blame! :ouch:

I'm not quite sure what the benefit is of heckling about a show someone doesn't like almost two years after it ended. While it was on is one thing, maybe even a little bit after, but almost two years later? It's weird. Did bashers still hang around the DS9, VOY, and ENT Forums two years after those shows ended? On second thought, don't answer that...

I mean, obviously you can, but why would someone want to? What does someone get out of it?

In 2007, two years after the series ended, ENT was the last thing on my mind. Actually, in 2002, ENT was the last thing on my mind. I focused on stuff I did like.

After two years, it starts to look like there's something else going on besides simple dislike. Almost like being obsessed against it. It's negative energy.

Nah, people got a right to express their displeasures however they wish. I mean I personally hate PIC S1/S2, but love S3, yeah I don't dwell on the hate but I do love raving about S3.
Forums like this are like an online bonfire chat, where we can talk about positives or negatives about our favorite shows and media.
Nearly 60 years and people still talk about hating Spock's Brain, 40 years and they still hate Code of Honor, nearly 30 years and Threshold is still hated.
As long as these media will exist there will be lovers and haters of it.

I'm not saying they don't have a right. I'm asking why would they want to at every possible opportunity?

I don't like Jersey Shore. I don't keep talking about how much I don't like it every day. I don't take cheap shots at fans of it every day.

Going to bed or, if I can't do something about this insomnia, putting on Babylon 5.

Nah. I don't have it in me to watch something. Yet I'm still not tired. I'll put on some music. Can't do '80s, that'll keep me awake. Can't do '90s Alternative, that'll also keep me awake, umm...

This. It has "insomnia relief" right in the description!
