This is the same idea as the female Doc Ock in the Spiderverse movie, she's female just to make it clear this isn't the Main MCU but a parallel universe. When theirs is destroyed and the survivors come to the main MCU, the Silver Surfer there will be Norrin Radd
It really seems like a really odd story choice to me to introduce this new team of heroes and have them fail that totally, completely and utterly in their very first outing. I find it unlikely.
All we know is that they'll show up in Doomsday and Secret Wars, that doesn't necessarily mean they're universe will be destroyed. If it is it probably won't happen until Secret Wars, which will give us at least a couple of appearances before they're universe is potentially destroy. I'm sure First Steps will end with them stopping Galactus and saving their world.

I mean, they said they were going to have the standard Norrin Radd Surfer too in the main MCU so it seems likely.
Unless it's because of something else they fail or they get pulled into the main MCU before they can fight Galactus and never get a chance to stop him.
Sometimes I marvel (no pun) at the way actors get gifts on top of their crazy pay amounts (and free food for the entirety of their job!) and they get to steal from work and tell stories about how they stole on TV like it's a funny story.

That's not true, is it? I mean we already know that it is highly probably Americans have voted in their last free election for at least a generation and the Constitution will be suspended or amended--but I highly doubt that corporate entities are bowing before their new overlords already.
Who is "they"? I found some rumors, but nothing concrete.
It seems they may have decided to pull it sooner than the election results but I'm not sure if that's any better.
