Denzel for Black Panther 3? I wasn’t aware it had even been greenlit but if it has, he’d be a great addition. Hopefully he hasn’t just been misquoted here
Given that's it's video of him speaking the words I'm not sure how he'd be misquoted.

I wasn’t able to watch the video with sound as I was at work, but definitely good to know it’s a direct quote.

All of sudden I am very excited for another Black Panther movie. The second one was okay but with Black Panther not in it and Killmonger who stole the first movie also not in it, I can't say I was excited for a third movie. Denzel all of sudden changes that for me.
Isn't the movie about Shuri becoming the Black Panther?

Sort of but she seems like they tagged it on because they had no option. I don't even think they had her in the suit until the third act. She doesn't even really feel like the lead of the movie. Angela Bassett was the heart and soul of that movie. Shuri is better fit as the scientist character inventing stuff. Plus they missed out on what I like from the first movie which was her friendship she developed with Everett Ross. I hope they bring him back and they have those characters do more banter with each other.

One other thing that could gt me pumped up more for this movie is if we find out they will introduce Storm in the movie. It's about time they start bringing in X-Men characters. I also want Namor as a good guy in the movie. The main hero cast would be Denzel,Shuri,Okoye,M'BakuRoss,Namor and Storm.

I know but it's just adds to that feeling like it's all tagged on because they had no choice. The plan was never for Shuri to become that character. The tragic death of Boseman made them have to scramble. I still would have went with them bringing back a reformed Killmonger to take on the mantle of Black Panther. He was already the best character in the first movie. Making him the lead I think would have worked. Kind of a MCU version of how in the Terminator movies they had Arnie be the villain in the first movie but hero in the second movie. Well co-hero with Sarah Conner.

I could have seen them doing that. Shuri is the one who brings him back to life through tech and ends up taking on the mantle when he and Suri have to stop the bad guy.

The had to refit the entire movie.

Denzel Washington is a great addition for Black Panther 3. I'm very curious to see who he's playing.
Q-Pid wasn't that fantastical, and Q being the reason for it made sense. They even make fun of the weird elements, like with Worf destroying the Lute. The DS9 Tribbles episode wasn't silly, it was a fun time travel episode that fit the tone of most Trek episodes that aren't specifically drama stories. The Thaw was absolute shit, even by the lower standards of Voyager, but even it had logic (it all took place on a mental "holodeck"). That Fantasy SNW episode was also trash, but again had at least some justification that fits Star Trek and wasn't just "magic did it", and it didn't have a bunch of less then stellar voices singing awful songs.

The musical episode was the same stupid magic nonsense as the burn in Discovery, its like elements of a bad modern Doctor Who episode got stuck into Star Trek.
Star Trek is filled with stupid magic nonsense, so I don't see where what we got in Subspace Rhapsody is worse than anything else we've gotten over the years. And you obviously have very odd judgment when it comes to quality of the cast's singing abilities and the songwriting. I was pleasantly surprised by how good most of the cast was and I thought the songs were pretty good.

Killmonger's self-destructive arc ended as it should.

Also, Killmonger is a bad man and not worthy of the title "Black Panther". I wouldn't want him as Black Panther any more than I'd want Frank Castle as Captain America.

It would for sure have to be a redemption story. I think his background is enough to create some sympathy for turning over a new leaf. Not to mention having a experience of dying and coming back to life. I am not sure if they ever did anything like that for the character in the comics but I think in the movies it would work.
