What is the most offensive thing you can say to a Trek fan?

Is something art just because you hang it on a wall?

Here's my complaint about the USS 1701 "A' through "D" - no fucking wall art. Who wants to stand and stare blankly into the cavernous darkness of space and its incomprehensible expansiveness when they can be looking at... I don't know uh Andy Warhol or Whoopi's art.

Spock had a painting in his quarters in TUC. Picard has a painting in his ready room. Data had a collection of paintings in his quarters. This is just off the top of my head, so there's probably plenty of other examples.

And for four years the 1701-D observation lounge had gold sculptures of previous ships named Enterprise on its wall. Painting? No. Sculpted artwork? Yes.

Of course they could've hung anything at the wall and claim it was 22nd century Tellarite art. (I doubt 18th century people would've recognised Warhol's work as art -and I don't mean to insult his work by that).

Just stumbled upon this intriguing Thread…

Trekkie/Trekker

At the risk of being a “Cooler” to the pitch of the Thread, I was going to offer that a possible “offensive” comment could be to call a Trekkie a “Trekker”…but, from the First Post, things seemed to hit Warp 9.9!!!
Spock's quarters has various Vulcan pieces of art. Framed bubble wrap was also a favorite wall hanging,

Perhaps popping the ‘wrap would have been useful as he was going through the Pon Farr?

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel offended.
