Well, not rhat obvious. After all, i needed.. weeks to notice it. ;). But, seriously, i always miss or forget something when uploading a pic. I usually notice it, when the post loads the first time in the thread.

    And love the Warspite.

True that that why im taking my time with the design im working on might be done before the 10th and with the new Tool Kit it'll look somewhat awsome

and i like your version of the TOS Northhapton but in a fight id rather go with
Sean_McCormick's Southhapton. Cant wait for more TNG designs or a TNG tool kit so i can finally gring some of my designs on that link in sig to better life :) and if you or anyone else what to do my designs that look kinda TOS or TMP or TNG go ahead im surprised no-one has done so already.

You're right. It wasn't that obvious. I didn't notice it until I checked the TMP versions of Kearsarge and Chicago to find out if they have the same kind of impulse engine mounts as TMP Napoleon, MacArthur and Van Maanen. Kearsarge and Chicago could just as easily have a more narrow impulse mount (especially with the warp engine mount sticking up out of it). I just wanted to know one way or the other...

Vance, great work on all the designs you have put out. I have seen where you got a few designs from Jackill as well as having used some of the old FASA designs. Where do the others come from, they completely your idea or are you like any good EMT and will take help from where you can find it? LOL

I'm continuing to really enjoy your stuff Neale. Definitely not the usual kit-bash junk I've seen out there. It's clear that lots of thought and effort went into these designs. Sean's stuff is excellent too. Look forward to seeing more.

The 'default' Stringray require a little more work due to the paired nacelles, so it came third. But it's up now. :)

I'm trying to get all the official and published ships in, which is actually a lot harder than I originally thought. FASA has a huge array of ships, most of which aren't really done all that well (good ideas, but rushed, as Dana Knutson admitted to me ages ago). LUG described ships and gave no art, etc...

From there it's a matter of which 'fanon' got exposure, either through print or through miniatures (such as the Stingray series), then whatever requests can be fit in, and so on.

One problem: the pylon for the port "pod" should obscure the back slope of the upper saucer section in the profile view, shouldn't it?

Not to degrade the artistry involved in creating these, but some of these designs are really ugly.
