Didn't they use Art Asylum TOS phasers in IaMD?You can also hear Barry mention that they might have their replica phasers be featured on the actual show. Wouldn't that be cool to have another 'Eaglemoss Enterprise D' scenario?

I believe they used the Art Asylum Phase Pistols in the show, I don't think the TOS phasers were released until ENT was off the air.Didn't they use Art Asylum TOS phasers in IaMD?
And Playmates figures on VOY
The pile of Borg bodies that Kes sees in Scorpion were the action figures.Wow. When?
The Art Asylum TOS phaser was released in 2003, and does appear in the mirror episodes.I believe they used the Art Asylum Phase Pistols in the show, I don't think the TOS phasers were released until ENT was off the air.

I'm not up to date on SNW. Are there variants to their phaser? They are also talking up a "time sensitive surprise announcement that you won’t want to miss!" which I guess is an exclusive variant or something.
I thought the video that discussed the construction of this replica that the only real variants were working props, the expensive one, and the stunt ones, which are not functional. I don't think we've even seen the type one separated from the full body in the show.I'm not up to date on SNW. Are there variants to their phaser?
Sometimes the "idealized" prospect can be a bit tedious. Back when MR did their rendition of the assault phaser, I was disappointed that I couldn't simply slide the front cover forward and back like they did in the scene you were referring to. But now, with FE's release, I feel like it can be better recreated since sliding it forward by hand and releasing it back will make recreating it much easier. My idea is to simply hold down the release lever while I slide the cover back and forth. There was a brief set of frames in TFF when a bunch of security personnel were prepping their assault on Nimbus III, where we might have gotten the tiniest of glimpses at the Type 1 with the upper Type 2 housing slid forward. Neither TrekCore nor Cygnus-X1 captured that little bit during the shuttle landing sequence (despite having other frames shown). But yeah, it's pretty thin. Most of these mass-produced prop replicas are clearly "idealized" recreations of the originals which were "good enough" for quick long shots on screen (especially the painted rubber duck stunt versions), but would never really stand up to scrutiny sitting under lights on a shelf. The original prop communicators and tricorders from the various productions, for example, never had all the bells and whistles being put in the replicas.
As to other Star Trek replicas you may have seen on display at San Diego Comic-Con or Star Trek Las Vagas or on social media, in order to avoid creating similar timing unpredictability going forward, we have elected to delay launching them for preorder until they are actually on the water to us or in our warehouse.
Probably because they have no idea of how much the tariff will be until it’s almost here. So they don’t want to offer preorders at a price that they won’t be able to honor if it ends up costing them 2.5x more to import.Factory Entertainment sent an email out.
Nooo! Version 2.0 of the Assault Phaser... It was within our grasp.

Oh, I hear ya. It was mentioned specifically in the email. I just didn't want to kick the hornet's nest.Probably because they have no idea of how much the tariff will be until it’s almost here.
