i sent all my lego to my grandkits - adelheid was all for sending it to her cousins as that gives her the chance to go to montpellier to play. after that she told me she needs some lego in münchen - yeah she got it, too,

... why are our grandkids always capable of forcing us to buy them whatever they want? i never did that with their moms.

My parents have the same attitude towards my kids, and my nieces. My mom had one nice up for three days and they went shopping for food and then my niece (8) announced she was taking any leftovers back home.

my daughters got all the food they wanted (and i found a way to prepare) - not daily of course, but my grandkids get whatever the non-food they want and then my daughters come up with 'we never got this' and then i start buying them stuff (i usually stop when they start talking cars)

My parents are hitting the generous streak to. It's rather fun now, but they definitely spoil the kids with food and nonfood all the time.
