It would be interesting, since it's an alternate universe, to have 60s-sounding tunes that are like familiar ones but a bit off in some way.

The Russo's explicitly called him Victor Von Doom. Doom to Stark will be like Johnny Storm to Steve Rogers but on a larger scale.

That's some pivot marvel. I'm not sure what to think but the idea excites me and having someone who is/was/(looks like?) Stark (the world's greatest hero in the MCU) is going to add some powerful drama to things. Holland's Spiderman comes to mind. And if they bring back Chris.....

I don’t think it’s a full Pivot. I imagine Doom was always planned to appear, I think they just expanded his role.
Given that I really don't want to see yet another FF origin-story movie, that subtitle First Steps is not reassuring. Hopefully it isn't what it sounds like.
All winning production decisions so far. The FF had to begin in the 1960s to utilize the best of the concept.
Personally, I would hope 60s pop music would not be a part of the soundtrack, since that kind of music was not the omnipresent score for the average person walking down the street. I'd rather use a composer who might take some influence from scores of that era, but not blatantly rip it off like Elfman used to with his Herrmann rips.
The most welcome MCU news of all; Spellman said as much a year ago, but i'm glad a MCU film returns to its absolute best for a template.
