Spoilers Resident Alien (2020 SyFy)

This was a pretty good finale.
Joseph turning on the Greys was an nice development.
I love that D'Arcy got a big hero moment helping Kate find her baby.
The way they did the scene with Harry and Bridgette fighting the Grey was a lot more fun than actually showing us what they were doing.
The whole exchange between McAlister and Harry at the beginning cracked me up.
It will be interesting to see where they take things next season now that pretty much the whole cast has experience with aliens. Will Ben, Kate, Mike, and Liv all end up finding out Harry is an alien? If this does get another season, I could see the next season/series finale being the whole cast working together to take down the Greys once and for all.

Is it bad that I would actually watch that? Is a White Collar revival actually happening? I loved that show.

The creator is working on a script and the main three actors said they'd come back, but there's no studio actually making it yet.

Thanks to the Olympics, I subscribed to Peacock and binge watched the last season. I have a burning question:

Did Harry charge Kate for the hour?

OK, this season was wonderful. It felt like all the side stories were better integrated into the main narrative, and everything was contributing thematically to the series. Obviously, Kate's hypnosis was the high point. Great acting, great writing, but moreover, great editing. I'm normally down on single-camera setups, but it is put to great advantage, where Kate can be emotive, live Harry can be assertive, and narrator Harry can be reflective. I'm sure the editors worked hard to dial in Alan Tudyk's performance with Garretson's performance. Resident Alien isn't Mork and Mindy, and Harry is determined rather than just a fish out of water. The finale annoyed me. It appears the episode was recut for a possible fourth season. I think they should have stood by what was there.
I guess the Grey's moonbase (anyone notice the not so effective Star Wars joke?) didn't blow up, and D'Arcy never returned the baby to Kate and Ben.
More generally, all the character grew without losing their quirks and flaws. The sheriff's characterization improved the most, being more aware and involved without being self-absorbed.
